Melancholic anarcho-punk from Barcelona
After a demo and their excellent debut LP from 2021, here's the second LP from ROTURA from Barcelona, Spain. As usual from the band, the new record offers melodic, melancholic, and combative hardcore punk with female vocals reminiscent of bands like SUICIDAS, SIGNAL LOST, ELEKTRODUENDES, or ACCIDENTE. Punk full of melody and politics, with a slightly less dark sound than their first album, but the same frenetic drums in sync with a solid bass and guitar riffs perfectly balancing distortion and melody. What enhances it all is Silvia's voice, which makes the songs her own and elevates ROTURA's sound to something unique!
