LOS MOVIMIENTOS is Flaaryr’s sixth solo release. The eclectic Argentinian artist takes visceral noise guitar into deconstructed club territories giving place to his most aggressive yet most danceable work.

With a new approach to his multilayered live-looping performance, Flaaryr plays in an intensely textural and non-melodic way, building organic polyrhythmic grounds that constantly break and regenerate.
The six tracks that make this genre-defying album blend into each other, creating a relentless exploration that unfolds through pulsating swarms of percussion, sharp metallic weavings, walls of sound, and atonal clusters.
Vocal samples bind the pieces together, telling stories about movement.
Movement as the rejection of colonial doctrines. Movement as migration. Movement as walking long, unknown roads while carrying a home in a broken suitcase. Movement as pilgrimage, oral tradition, rituals, dance and sound that makes bodies vibrate and melt together. Movement as the symbiotic underground networks of life, death and rebirth. Movement as community, organization, and collective power.

LOS MOVIMIENTOS is personal and political, esoteric and outspoken.
Over the more than two years it took to complete, it grew from a sonic love letter from the artist to his heroes and heroines of Argentinian folklore into a call for awareness, rage and hope in alternative forms of community.
As we witness the most blatant genocide of our lifetime and the collapse of western civilization with its institutions proving themselves corrupted and useless, this album is, above all, a humble and respectful tribute to the peoples of the Global South and to those who fought and continue to fight against imperialism.
