“Sriracha Original” is the artist’s first producer album. It consists of 14 tracks, each featuring a different artist. The album brings together legendary names from the Spanish hip-hop scene such as Tremendo, Elphomega, Nirban and Griffi, established artists like Erick Hervé, Laüra Bonsai, Felinna Vallejo, Guerrita and Franco Carter, as well as younger artists who have been making a lot of noise in recent years, such as Faenna and Molly.
The album doesn’t stick to a strict sound. You can find classic hip-hop, drumless tracks, rap with an ’80s aesthetic, and more. The entire album was produced and mixed by Esse Delgado, with mastering handled by Middle Name. The graphic design is by Marta Pale.
ESSE DELGADO
Active since 2005, Esse Delgado has produced and DJed for several underground groups in Barcelona. Since 2019, he has been the DJ and producer for the acclaimed group Las Ninyas del Corro. He has produced two successful studio albums with the group and toured all over Spain presenting them.
In parallel, in 2023 he teamed up with Franco Carter to create Sunday Truce, a drumless album built around bright samples and lyrics that pray for hope for the working classes.
He is currently working on new material with Las Ninyas del Corro, as well as on various projects with different artists.
