Egg punk from Heidelberg
Decades after Sluts’n, there’s finally good German punk coming out of Heidelberg again. After playing tons of shows over the past few years, the youngsters are dropping their first tape: six tracks of snotty German punk with a slight hardcore edge, but also a bit more experimental at times—and a synth sneaks in more than once.
The band is pissed, and with “Friedrich Scherz (Christlich Asozial)” they deliver the first German punk anthem aimed at the incoming federal chancellor. This is how German punk is still fun in 2025!
The tape comes with a colored lyric sheet, and since the last song on the A-side unfortunately gets cut off, you get all the tracks again on the B-side—this time in reverse order.
